Updates to the MN Voterfile


The coordinated canvassing team is contacting voters everyday! They’ve utilized texting, phone banking, and relational organizing to reach voters and turn out the vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and Dems up and down the ballot. Many of you are using the same tactics and really similar scripts when contacting voters! We’re 17 days from the Election, leaves are turning red, and pumpkin spice lattes are available everywhere - it’s GOTV Season ?️?

We want to cover a few reminders this week, but will keep it brief so you can focus on the best conversations - the one’s with voters! 

? Refresh your lists each morning at 8:30AM after all Early Voter data has been loaded into VAN! This will help you leave out folks who have already voted early. 

? The voterfile was updated earlier this week, so you will have access to newly registered voters!

? The last voterfile update will be available on Thursday, October 29th. That is the Thursday right before the Election.

Continuing Conversation on ActionNetwork

As previously mentioned, we’ve moved from our old email tool, Blast Email, to a new system, ActionNetwork. If you were a previous Blast Email user with a long-term (six or twelve months) plan, refunds from your subscription were sent out by NGP VAN early this past week. If you are unsure if you should receive a refund or not, please contact Amanda K. Williams at awilliams@dfl.org. We will be able to coordinate with NGP VAN to facilitate a refund.


    If you haven’t attended an ActionNetwork live training session yet, we encourage you to join us! Our final training session is scheduled for October 22nd. You can sign up for live trainings here. You will receive a zoom invitation the Wednesday before your desired training date. If this date does not work for you and your team, but you’d like to attend a training session, please reach out to us to schedule an individual time. Our email address is voterfile@dfl.org.
