As you recall from ActionNetwork – The Basics, you can use Tags to target your email. In this article we will go into further detail about the specific tags we’ve made available for all ActionNetwork groups. We will also cover how to request tags that are unique for your ActionNetwork group.
What is a Tag?
If you’ve watched Netflix’s The Home Edit, you’d probably agree that tags make life easier! Much like the docuseries details, tags in ActionNetwork help you sort items into a given “bucket”. Although sorting activists is different than sorting Tupperware, through this analogy we can understand that ActionNetwork uses tags as a sorting method.
The activists you’re emailing through ActionNetwork can have multiple tags identify an action they’ve completed or an event they’ve attended. We’ll get into details below in Generic Tags, but an example would be our Caucus Attendee Tag. This tag will help you pull a list of past caucus attendees to email!
