Last Day of Internship at DFL
Hi everyone! This is Jasmin, the data intern at Minnesota DFL, and sadly this will be the last email that I will be taking over as today is the last day of my internship.
The last three months have been an amazing experience for me as I got a hands-on-experience working with political data and gained helpful insights to the department. I was able to grow my technical skills, and also learn how campaigns worked and why data collection/management is so important.
I have always wondered what it would be like working in the politics field, and I am very grateful that my first experience was with the DFL. With that being said, I want to give a huge shoutout to my supervisor, Amanda Williams, for always supporting me and being helpful throughout my project.
While I am sad to be heading off, I believe with this internship, it has increased my interest in pursuing a career in politics, and would love to come back for future opportunities at the DFL! |
DFL Data Open Hours We know that DFL Data trainings may not fit everyone's schedule. As an alternative, we hold space for questions and concerns from our users every Friday from 11am - 1pm. You're encouraged to sign up for open hours here! Open hours will be hosted on Zoom and you will receive a Zoom invitation after you sign up. This space is intended to be collaborative, so the time will be open for multiple folks at once. We look forward to meeting with you!
