As a cycle winds down, you may find yourself with extra folders or lists that are no longer useful. To stay organized, you might want to archive a list or the whole folder. In this article I will review the difference between marking inactive and deleting, how to delete or inactivate a folder, and how to delete a list from a folder.
The Difference Between "Inactive" and Deleting
A list can only be deleted. A folder can both be marked as "inactive" and deleted. A folder that is deleted is not retrievable. However, a folder that is marked "inactive" can be changed back to active at a later time if desired. Folder management is your decision, and either option is fine as long as you understand how that will effect your folder going forward.
